合作交流

理论室经过多年的发展,目前已与国内外诸多科研机构和大学建立了良好的合作交流关系。合作交流项目与计划如下:
1. PIC simulations of ion waves (ICRF,low-frequency waves)

Description:
Kinetic ions, cold electrons, quasi-neutral (omega .lt. 2omega_{ci}).
Object:
(a). Nonlinear interactions of RF waves
(b). 2nd harmonic wave generations and decays
(c). Nonlinear Landau damping
(d). Code modifications (long term)
2. Effects of energetic particles on fishbone and TAE instability
(Y. Todo (NIFS), Guoyong Fu (PPPL), 胡业民胡友俊, 张新军)
(a) Get EP distribution from Fokker-Planck equation and RF code
(b) Express the distribution function numerically in terms of appropriate basis function.
(c) Interface the numerical distribution with NOVA-K
(d) Interface the numerical distribution with M3D-K and MEGA
(e) Get electric field from RF code and compute quasilinear coefficients for interface with M3D-K code

Collaborations with PPPL (cont.)
Long term goal:
(a) Develop a PIC code to replace FP code
(b) Physics problems with application to EAST and other tokamak devices: Electron-driven fishbone due to ECRH and LH heating (M3D-K)
(c) TAE driven by ICRF-tail ions (NOVA-K)
(d) Nonlinear saturation of fast particle-driven modes (MEGA, M3D-K, both fast electrons and ions, fishbone and TAE)

 

3. Basic collisional theory of current drive
